If you follow me on facebook, you know that I just made some sweet goodies for my neighbors. These Reese's peanut butter squares were included in that box of goodies. They are delicious, and one of the easiest desserts I've ever made. I will definitely be making them again!
Reese's Peanut Butter Squares
slightly adapted from Let's Dish
Ingredients:
1 cup butter melted
2 cups graham cracker crumbs (Make sure they are crushed finely, I used a box of crumbs.)
2 cups confectioners' (powdered) sugar
1 cup + 4 tablespoons peanut butter
1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 teaspoon oil
Directions:
In a medium bowl, mix together the melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, confectioners' sugar, and 1 cup peanut butter until well blended. Press evenly into the bottom of a lightly greased 9x13 inch pan. (The original recipe calls for an ungreased dish, but mine stuck a little bit.) In a double boiler or bowl over simmering water, or in the microwave, melt the chocolate chips, peanut butter, and oil, stirring occasionally until smooth. Spread over the peanut butter layer. Refrigerate for at least one hour before cutting into squares.
