We celebrated my son's 3rd birthday last weekend. He requested an ocean themed party and cake. Here is what we ended up with. I had a bit of an issue with the cake sticking to the pan so crumbs got in the icing but my three year old loved it and didn't even notice. I used the cake recipe from the chocolate cake with chocolate ganache icing for the cake and it was delicious. You should make that cake if you haven't. Yum! That looks awesome! I am so bad at cake/cookie decorating. I don't have the patience.
I loved making cakes like this when my 4 boys were growing up. too bad our pictures were not as good as today.
