This is one of my favorite things my mother in law, Becky, makes. I immediately asked for the recipe after my first taste. It is so yummy! Definitely let it sit in the fridge over night, or all day so the pudding can really saturate the cookies. The soggy, sweet cookies are my favorite part!
Banana Pudding
Banana Pudding
from my mother in law, Becky
Ingredients:
3 cups milk
1 large package Vanilla instant pudding
6-8 large bananas, sliced
2 boxes Vanilla Wafers
1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk
3 cups milk
1 large package Vanilla instant pudding
6-8 large bananas, sliced
2 boxes Vanilla Wafers
1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 container Cool Whip, or use this homemade recipe
Directions:
Mix pudding and milk together until it begins to get thick. Add sweetened condensed milk and mix. Fold in whipped topping. Layer bananas and Vanilla Wafers in a deep bowl, dish, or trifle bowl, beginning with wafers first because the more cookies the better! Once you reach the top of your bowl, pour pudding mixture on top of your layered cookies and bananas. Cover and place in refrigerator for at least 6 hours, making it the night before is the best. Enjoy!
